Remote Music Collaboration is a big topic. What’s the best platform? How do you connect with people locally and internationally in a meaningful way?
To find out more, catch my talk at the Ableton User Group Melbourne on March 16. See this Facebook event for more info.
I am currently adding final touches to my practice-based PhD project, which is a first in the world in-depth study of the impact of remote music collaboration software on collaborative music production. This project involved collaborating on over a dozen musical compositions with over forty participants located in various geographical locations on three continents: Europe, North America and Australia.
The user group is a chance to meet with other producers, share our knowledge, get feedback, meet and hang out with other like minded enthusiasts.
Ableton User Group Melbourne is thrilled to be partnered with “The Channel” in Arts Centre Melbourne, for these events. If you have never been to the Channel before, it is right on the Yarra above Hamer Hall.
