This site covers selected activities of Dr Martin K. Koszolko who is a Polish-born, Newcastle (Australia) based sound producer and academic known for his creative work under the KOshowKO, Philosophy Of Sound and iUBAR PROJECT monikers.
KOshowKO’s ‘Now You’re Talking Baby’ was featured in the Art Music Awards-nominated compilation and adopted as the MINA Film Festival anthem. The creation of this piece was discussed at the Mobile Studies Congress 2023 and now the track has a music video with VHS aesthetics!
KOshowKO channels the legendary Charanjit Singh by blending the 303 with non-Western instruments in the new track ‘The 303rd Babel of Greed’ made for the Clan Analogue compilation album ‘Cognition 303: Bassline Deviations’. The album is a celebration of the Roland TB-303 Bass Line machine.
After a couple of pre-release singles, the new KOshowKO EP is out today in its Bandcamp Edition. This release explores various ‘mobile positions’, mostly iOS & OP1 based mobile music making strategies
