Ableton Link is a new technology that keeps devices in time over a wireless network. Given that it’s also more or less Xmas time, what better way to test Link than making a quick Xmas tune? I used a bunch of Link enabled iPad apps such as Korg Gadget, iKaossilator and Patterning as well as the current beta version of Ableton Live featuring the Link protocol. The Link idea is so simple yet so effective …and yes, everything stays in time. Have a great festive season!
