In the last months KOshowKO’s tracks have been released on 3 excellent compilation albums.
First is the double vinyl from the Emerald & Doreen records featuring ‘It’s Time Now (Marbeya Sound Remix)‘. The album is titled: Emerald & Doreen 100.
It’s the first vinyl release from the German imprint and their 100th so far! This 2 × Vinyl album is limited to only 100 copies on marbled pink and green coloured wax and for a limited time, you could get it via Discogs.
The same track got also picked by Jerry Bouthier, the man behind Continental records, long-time Kitsuné collaborator and half of baleariscopop act JBAG among other things. Emerald & Doreen released the “Mystery Tour” album featuring Jerry’s favorite tracks & remixes from the label’s extensive catalogue (500+ titles in three years). The third release is from the Australian label Clan Analogue and their long awaited experimental compilation album Intone: Voice Abstractions which showcases new experimental and electronic treatments of the human voice. KOshowKO’s track ‘Now You’re Talking Baby‘ has been made entirely on an iPad using the Yellofier app created by Yello’s Boris Blank. The track evokes the purity of the untrained baby voice and you can stream it via SoundCloud below…
